I Believe...

...that if you're going to go on national television to debate against an opponent for the presidency, actually preparing for it might be a smart idea.  Improvisation has its place but probably not in a presidential debate as the primary tactic.

...that, on the whole, breakfast for dinner is superior to pizza first thing in the morning.  It's always time for pancakes and eggs.

...that The Purge: Election Year is not only solid schlock, it is in the best tradition of a lower budget horror film perfectly encapsulating the sociopolitical climate of the country.

...that, if the folks behind #BlackLivesMatter want to genuinely get things rolling, an overwhelming economic boycott of goods, services and working would do more than all the protesting on the ground.  Isaiah Washington has it exactly right.

...that if you level the charge of tokenism at a national storytelling organization and then turnaround and perform in a national comedy institution's All Latinx Comedy Night, you either don't know what tokenism is or only use the accusation when it's convenient.
