I Believe... [Packers vs Joe Biden]

By Don Hall

…that, without passing judgment on any parents out in the world, I’m pretty much thrilled that I have no children. For one thing, I haven’t added another human to take up space and resources in an already overpopulated planet. For another, I can comfortably walk around stark naked in my home.

…that, after watching the Corey Lewandowski Q&A with members of Congress, PBS can inspire me to near violent rage and sputtering incoherence.

…that if you think that the rejection of “call out culture” seems to be a backlash against being held responsible for your actions you’ve bought into the polemic that states that no one can ever truly atone for their sins and now resemble a Catholic priest in the 15th Century. The difference between shaming and bullying is as razor thin as the difference between life coaching and brain washing.

…that there is almost no substantive distinction between a rabid sports fan and someone on either side of the political fringe. A Packers fan is just as angry, animated, and out of control as a Trump supporter or someone feeling “the Bern.”

…that the interesting/troubling thing about history is how easy it is to rewrite it based on agenda and a quest for glory. As I always say, if your narrative positions you as either the hero or the victim, rewrite your story.
