Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of November 15, 2020

By David Himmel

• Stop being so hard on yourself and everyone else. Just be social. Just be cool. Stop expecting so much from everything but have the ambition to make it all better. Then follow through.

• Most of people’s intentions from a good place. The hiccup is that people can be selfish, and their good place is not always a good place for you.

• Explosions can be the start of building something beautiful. It is, after all, how we got this cute, little universe of ours.

• Considering the year that has been 2020, I think 2021 should feel like one, long Hallmark Christmas movie. Sweet, benign, with a happy ending. But that won’t happen because God doesn’t watch Hallmark movies. God watches Real Housewives.

• With COVID raging again, and people (hopefully) staying home, I have a feeling that Amazon will do pretty well this Christmas thanks to all the online shopping.

• A new iPhone can make you feel like a new person.
