I Believe… [Enforcing Rights Instead of Culling Privilege]

By Don Hall

…that nothing says more about Americans than that we have become bored and petulant with a pandemic that could give two shits about our boredom and childish need for stimulation.

…that culture and race are two completely different aspects of identity. Race you can’t remove; culture is like a costume you can change at will. If your boss doesn’t like your hairstyle, that’s a cultural issue.

…that it doesn’t make sense to focus on privilege and trying to eliminate it; it would be far more logical and healthy to focus on rights and trying to enforce them.

…that a great day off in Vegas includes a few hours at the Red Rock pool, day drinking at Banger Brewing on Fremont, and a heaping plate of nachos from Nacho Daddy.

…that in the wake of our seeming impotence in ridding ourselves of the Trumps from our lives we have decided to turn on ourselves instead.
