Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of October 3, 2021

By David Himmel

• I’m not one to introduce holidays too early. Like, keep Halloween in October, thanksgiving in November, etc. but if the threat of texting Santa gets my kid to brush his teeth and get to bed without a fuss at any point in the year, I’m all for talking Christmas in March.

• America is the world’s cum sock and we can’t admit it. Until we do, we’ll keep getting pummeled with foreign spunk and laughed at as we’re tossed under the bed.

• Being overly cautious can make you excessively dangerous.

• Judgement is fine so long as it’s fair and impartial.

• I have become irrationally upset by bad traffic. No one likes a traffic jam, but I really can’t stand them. It might be a clinical issue.

• The thing I love most about Chicago is a jumbo Chicago Dog with an RC to wash it down.
