Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of August 29, 2021
• Cancel culture will fail us all. It’s an overcorrection to answer for the previous culture that failed us all.
• I understand the sentiment, but your memes of planes flying into the Twin Towers is more traumatic than patriotic.
• A trip from Chicago to Milwaukee can feel like going to a new planet if you’re in the right headspace.
• A recording studio is more spiritual than any church, mosque, or temple.
• Living life through chemistry gets confusing if you’re bad at math.
• Despite my best efforts, my kid occasionally watches YouTube videos where disembodied hands play with toys. Those hands are too often grown man hands and it’s highly disturbing. It’s also a career I would love to have.
