Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of January 7, 2024
• Putting this here for posterity... Three hours of sleep. It’s 4:45 a.m. and I’m half a can of Bang Energy into my day.
• Sleeping through a sick day becomes pointless if you dream of stressful things.
• Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, that reason is really fucking stupid.
• I think I finally understand why people are attracted to mundane inspiring messages like “Live. Laugh. Love.” It’s for simplicity. It’s the same reason people are attracted to religion. It gives you something to believe in without having to think for yourself.
• I wouldn’t mind Chicago winters so much if it only snowed at night, only on the weekends, and always enough to go sledding or skiing.
• War is as natural to human beings as breathing.
