I Believe...

...that in the correcting of society and the shift from white male dominance to something approaching equity, there are certainly going to be some assholes who use the gender dynamic and racial dynamic to gain power rather equality.  It may suck in those cases but you can't make an omelette and all that...

...that people in the 1930's were in better shape than we are today because the tools they used were made of cast iron.  A garlic press today is made of aluminum and plastic and weighs a few ounces.  One from the 1930's was huge and weighed five pounds.

...that the difficulty we face with social media is that exposes exactly what a bunch of intolerant, shaming, moralizing bunch of suckholes we all are.

...that visionaries hire people with stubborn self determination because controlling their subordinates is the last thing on their mind. Autocrats require conformity and rule following. Everyone thinks he or she is a visionary but if control and manipulation is your mode of business, you ain't one.

...that anyone who has such strident issues with Apple ("Fuck!  They made Willam Gibson's cyber-punk language obsolete now!") probably shouldn't own an Apple product.  Criticizing Blood Diamonds has the whiff of righteous indignation until I see you wearing some around your neck.  Then you're just a whiny shit with a chip on your shoulder.
