Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of April 26, 2020
• Our home is so filthy, there’s a 30 percent chance my beard is just a gathering of my dog’s shedded hair.
• The Epoch Times was delivered to our building this week. Print is not dead. But perhaps it should be.
• I’d rather have COVID-19 than guilt.
• As men, as our hair and beards grow, many of us will soon pass for any number of late-’70s easy listening (Yacht Rock) stars. And the day I look more like Kenny Loggins than Rupert Holmes is the day I shave everything off.
• Unless you have a degree in economics or were an eyewitness to an alleged sexual assault in the Capitol in 1993, it’s best that you dial down your certainty on COVID-19–related economic issues and Joe Biden’s digits. At the very least, cite your sources.
• Opinions not born of facts are more dangerous than lies presented as facts because opinions come with feelings, and feelings make all of us even more stupid than we would normally be.
