I Believe... [Most Are NOT Outraged]

...that the unwritten purpose of most media today is to make you think that the views of 17 percent of the country are actually the views of 83 percent of the country. The media doesn’t want you informed, they want you outraged. You being informed doesn’t make them rich. You being outraged does.

...that teaching American students about the dark history of slavery is essential but it should encapsulate the complete history of global slavery in all time periods. That way they understand that it is the practice of slavery that is noxious, not “just something that happened to black people in North America.”

...that separating public restrooms into “Those with Penis” and “Those with Vagina” solves everyone’s issues.

...that I just got my Pfizer Booster shot. I don’t feel necessarily safer but somehow I feel like I’m just better than other people now.
