I Believe... [Soupy, Soupy Night]

...that “…things I dislike shouldn't exist" is the ultimate expression of petulance.

...that sometimes getting over something brutal comes in a moment of epiphany, sometimes it just dawns on you brick by brick but however you move past the pain, when you start setting a schedule and finding yourself productive you’re on your way.

...that I’m a rolling stone but I gather my moss. The difference is that I leave my moss in different places so when I’m looking for that green, mossy blanket, I can find it.

...that, while I’m advancing in age, unless I get hit by a bus or slip in the shower, I can rest easy knowing that Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell will both die before I do. I don’t wish ill upon them but I’ll rest a little bit easier when they are no longer in the world.

...that, if the goal was to destroy a Van Gogh, the children failed. If it was to gain attention for themselves and their stated cause, they knocked it out of the park. Effective protest is effective theater.
