I Believe... [Bullies Always Gotta Punch the Little Guy]

By Don Hall

...that, when the price of a necessity goes up, blaming anyone or anything but the CEOs making millions and billions of dollars is just fucking silly.

...that Don’t Look Up is the Crash of today. Jarringly one-note, filled with charismatic performances used to hammer a virtuous message that it’s everyone not watching who is at fault.

...that Chris Rock was the victim of assault and still held his poise. Will Smith was the much bigger kid hitting the class clown for making fun of his wife like any other garden variety bully. And the room gave him a standing ovation for it like the cheerleaders after the high school quarterback punches out the drama kid. Also, Jerry Springer should host next year’s show.

...that if your description of Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence, abolisher of the slave trade, and dude who served as the third president of the nation, is boiled down to “a known enslaver who exploited Black labor,” you’re not a serious person worthy of the attention of adult people.

...that Lia Thomas did nothing wrong. She followed the rules. Leave her alone for chrissakes.
