Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of November 10, 2024
• Remember your yard sign. Hate has no home here. Except for the Nazis, homophobes, racists, and sexists. Be wise enough to know the difference between the real bad guys and the reasonable, if not foolish, people with whom we disagree.
• A liberal populous divided against itself cannot stand. Mostly because we’ll make it real easy for the whackos—on the right and left—to keep their boots on our necks.
• Thing is, most Americans doesn’t experience life with the disaffected. But every American experiences the economy. And that’s what won. Most of America wants to afford a house and groceries. Everything else fell by the wayside.
• I wonder how much the election impacted Hannah Gadsby’s latest special.
• I try really hard to be a dispassionate judge. So, when I judge you, it’s not a bad thing. It does not come from bias, it comes from information. It is then, the judgement that I use to fuel my emotions.
• Through conversation may come conversion.
