I Believe… [Banquet Platters]

...that the act of reinvention is necessary to shake off the calcium deposits of complacency, renew a sense of purpose, and get better clothing.

...that few things are more appealing than leftover banquet platters.

...that, while life is chaos and none of us has control over the minute-to-minute happenings that unfold, finding a sense of routine is a really solid way to stay focused. Also, sleep. Sleep is really good.

...that it is instructive, as a known rule bender and rogue machanic, that my reaction to those in my charge who are rule benders and tend to go their own way is sometimes an approach to fully embrace this tendency and other times the impulse to break that colt.

...that the stink of possibility as new vistas become visible on the horizon is the fuel of dreams.
