I Believe… [Too Much Absence]

...that the 2024 election will ultimately decide the kind of country I’ll live in for the rest of my life (more SCOTUS picks, economic and foreign policy, institutional liberism or not) so I guess the outcome has some significance personally.

...that some absence makes the heart grow fonder; too much absence makes the heart forget.

...that indifference and apathy, when mulitplied by a mass movement, is a crippling scene for a society.

...that you simply cannot get away with everything. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try but be aware that, at some point, you’re gonna get busted.

...that there are just those who rise up when faced with a crisis and suddenly get into the zone. Like Colonel Jessup in ‘A Few Good Men,’ you just can’t handle the truth.
