I Believe... [Fun-Employed]

...that nature’s most pervasive trait is to kill us so we provide food for everything else. Humans feel like they can do it better than nature because we are far less intelligent than we think we are.

...that, like guns and gun owners, I don’t depise social media so much as those who use it obsessively and for profit.

...that both healthcare and therapy should have one of two goals: cure the disease or teach people to learn to cope with their permanent hurdles. If you’ve been on heart medication or antidepressants for a really long period of time, the professionals are not doing their jobs and you’ve signed onto a program of disease in perpetuity.

...that the feeling of leaving a job you found perfunctory on good days, incredibly dull on others, and completely odious 30% of the time is one of both liberation and lightness.

...that, if anything, the past year and a half was the period of time my dad (who is actually my step-father) finally saw me as a son.
