What Misery Is This?

What misery is this? The cat hung by his neck, strangled to death, and yet you still hear his plaintive, whispered meows. Wondering, are all of those nine lives really worth living?

Nonproductive constraints alienating strangers, wondering, when does the show begin? And is this all there is? When popular songs sound like white noise or elevators breaking down while you're still in them.

No way to tell the time though the room is filled with watches. All you can do is keep tapping your feet to the beat of the pulsing in your brain, hoping that this is the way out or at least a way to keep standing in the same place.
