I Believe… [Pivot]

...that escaping a war torn country when two years old does not imbue someone with any more wisdom than the same two-year old being deprived of ice cream.

...that the secret to a successful day is the flexibility to pivot when things go sideways.

...that there should be a narrower limit to how many times someone can appeal a court case and a far tougher burden on IRS exemptions.

...that no matter how prepared you are, no matter how many hours put into getting all your ducks in a row, you can never be fully ready for Gospel Fest in Millennium Park.

...that those with limited power are the most pernicious when they feel it threatened.
