I Believe… [Institutional Trust]

...that if a vampire attacked me and drank my blood she would conclude that I taste suspiciously like Buffalo Sauce and cheese.

...that, in business, working toward cutting costs as opposed to spending money on innovation is exactly like playing a game with not losing as the goal.

...that being supportive of someone who is struggling with anxiety and depression is righteous but elevating someone to hero status because they got help is ridiculous. That's like giving a prize to a starving person for eating a burrito.

...that the absence of trust in basic societal authority is a tear in the fabric of society which makes it more essential that those in authority reach for a place of unimpeachability and transparency. Trust is lost by those with the power to abuse the contract.

...that if you're getting most of your news from Tik Tok, the problem is not the curation of newsfeeds by the Chinese Communist Party, it's that you're getting most of your news from Tik Tok.
