A Tumor in April
April was terrible to Ben and they split up. Weeks later, a tumor was found in her brain, which caused dreadful pressure. It was the size of a grapefruit. With her head shaved, it was removed.
April and Ben met again years later. She was leaving an office building; he was boarding a train. They swooned and dated. But something was different. April was kind, considerate. Had the problem been her tumor? Ben couldn’t stand it. He missed her abuse. They broke up a month later.
