Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of January 19, 2025

By David Himmel

• Trust isn’t earned, it’s given. One wrong move can get it taken away. Tread lightly. Think things through.

• Shoveling a walkway clear of snow is a fantastic way to feel like you’ve made a difference. Little victories make for big changes.

• Approaching everything you hear with suspicion sounds like unfriendly, even bad advice. But remember, personal agendas are real.

• It seems there’s never enough money, time, or will power. And that is the greatest of human struggles.

• Always read the contract twice before signing.

• Sure, the grass may always be greener. But that could be because your neighbor never cleans up their dog’s crap piles.
