I Believe… [Enabling the Trump]
…that oversimplifying complex issues creates muted and ineffective solutions for people too busy to put in the energy to solve them.
…that the only person who benefits from protests devolving into riots and looting while being excused as somehow acceptable is Donald Trump.
…that it’s easy to get bored and complacent with the pandemic until someone you work with or love gets it. Then bored and complacent gets much more difficult to maintain.
…that the moment in Avengers: Endgame when Black Panther comes out of the Dr. Strange portal was always a “Holy Fuck Yeah!” Moment. It now has a few more emotional thunderclaps to contribute.
…that something is seriously awry when talk to your kids about racism has gone from “don’t judge people by their skin color” to “skin color is the single most important identifier to judge people by.”
