I Believe... [Time for Some Old Fashioned Filibuster Reform]

..that soon, as the pandemic transforms into an endemic, people will emerge from their Morlock caves blind and sun-deprived, and realize that the normal they missed and now seek wasn’t really all that great to begin with. Then they’ll go find a Kardashian and eat the flesh from her bones.

...that bringing back the “you have to talk the whole fucking time” filibuster is the key to bipartisanship. Put your mouth where that dirty money was, ass-to-mouthers.

...that we must stop referring to “black bodies.” Not only is it demeaning to black people (who are far more than their bodies) but feels strangely like labeling black people in the same way we demark cattle. Which is a travesty to do. Stop it.

...that unless you live in the 1600’s, anything you suffered more than five years ago and are still wounded by is about you and your inability to cope with it. If you are from the 1600’s, you definitely need to get a blade and skewer your enemies.

...that when drunken idiots are swimming in the Bellagio Fountain, climbing the fake Eiffel Tower at Paris, and stripping naked in the lobby of Caesar’s Palace, Vegas is healing.
