I Believe... [The Mobius Strip of Trauma]

By Don Hall

...that identifying yourself as nonbinary is no different than wearing a vintage Pearl Jam shirt and claiming you saw them in a thirty-seat club. Fine. You’re so much cooler now. Now get me my fucking latté, jagoff.

...that your trauma doesn’t make a good excuse for your poor behavior. No trauma in existence requires you behave like a screaming child yet enduring an adult screaming like a child can be traumatic. Like a Mobius strip of trauma.

...that every time a couple gets married in Vegas, angels weep and divorce lawyers quietly giggle.

...that Biden’s dismal numbers have more to do with the fact that we wanted a Leftie version of Trump and didn’t get it than it does with his job performance. We wanted a progressive asshole who would beat McConnell about the face and gobbly neck and instead got an adult. Trump lowered the bar of expectations in a president.

…that the SCOTUS overturn of Roe is the GOP dog catching the car. They have no clue what to do with it so they’re going after marriage equality? What?
