Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of October 14, 2024

By David Himmel

• I want to live in a world where no shoes is required for service.

• Fear is the driver of our greatest foibles.

• Saw my neighbor asleep in his car this morning while I was walking the dog. Right there in the driver’s seat cranked all the way back. Window rolled halfway down, his mouth agape. Car wasn’t even on. Just a morning car nap in the street. Respect, my man… respect.

• On my run yesterday, I hocked a loogie at a drain sewer and it landed perfectly in the center circle. I was smiling so hard for the next mile my cheeks hurt.

• I don’t think Trump should round up the immigrants. Round up and deport the influencers.

• Gen Z should be renamed the Hawk Tuah Generation. A nice reminder of how dumb we all are.
