I Believe… [Spiteful Electioneering]

...that a kick in the ass is a nudge forward.

...that it is the comparison of words and corresponding actions that tell you all you need to know about the intentions and framework of another person.

...that among the worst rationales for voting, the vote for spite is right up at the top.

...that in any relationship, there are two individuals, both living their own lives independently, and the us. The ‘us’ is its own thing and requires mutual attention to flourish. The us is resistant to power or control, is a shared space, and requires flexibility and care . It needs sunlight and water to grow and, in the absence of nourishment, withers and dies. This is why so many marriages end in divorce.

...that too little or too much of anything ends up in misery. For example: too little cheese makes me yearn for cheese; too much cheese blocks my colon.
