I Believe [Gaslighting Johnny Depp]

…that while not a definitive rebuke to #MeToo, if you believed Amber Heard’s accusations against Johnny Depp, you got played by an asshole using a movement for her own personal gain.

…that I’m all for government subsidized college tuition with the caveat that if you flunk or drop out, you have to pay it all back.

…that if the Left doesn’t take the Senate in some fashion, it won’t matter who we elect as president. Any one of the Democratic candidates is further Left than most in history but with the GOP in control of the Senate, whomever is president will have little platform for change.

…that if we truly seek a world without bullying, we must model that world rather than bully others into submission. This is true for both the people attacking Gayle King as it is for the  people attacking those people.

…that the only thing that leaves me less enthused than the announcement of the latest Wes Anderson film is the posting of another piece on McSwenis or the launching of another book by David Sedaris.
