Memo from Elon Musk
People have the freedom to share their opinions about anything – movies, TV shows, the Jews.
I Believe... [Be Fucking Grateful]
...that the holiday isn’t about the food or the genocide—it’s about being fucking grateful. Practice a bit of gratitude and maybe you won’t be such bitter, partisan sonofabitch. Also, grab a plate of root vegetables and offer your indigenous neighbors a blanket covered in small pox cuz covering all bases is the American way.
AI, Robot
Skynet is Meta. Skynet is also ZoomInfo. Aside from the luddites in the world, casually refusing to participate in the digital world at all, everyone is captive and tool of the coming human extinction.
I Believe... [Comfort is Overrated]
I believe... that the worst perpetual state for any human creative is comfortable. Seeking out discomfort is the source of every great risk and every great reward.
Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of February 14, 2021
Poor white people love people like Trump because they’re two sides of the same coin. They both live completely sheltered lives and both believe the lie of American Exceptionalism. The wealthier side of the coin believes that they were born into that exceptionalism because they deserved it and the poorer side believes that one day, they, too will be exceptional.

The Long Road to the Trump Presidency and Where We Go From Here
On the ListServ (a prehistoric version of Faceborg and Twitter) you find a thread espousing the new GOP-driven “Contract with America.” Users with fake names espousing the “Taking Back Our Streets Act” and the “Personal Responsibility Act” and conspiracy theories about then President Bill Clinton and his “manly” First Lady.
“Who pays attention to this shit?” you ask after perusing the thread for three hours. The irony is lost on you.
American Online and the Dial-Up Generation
I know social media is here to stay and that people will continue to quite literally live their lives inside these forums, but let's all agree, if we're going to continue to make this virtual world the main place where most modern socialization takes place, let's do it with some manners and some grace.

No One Wins an Online Argument
Some folks use social media as a bludgeon, pumping up the discord and waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting. Best to avoid them as much as you can.
Anxiety is the thing that’s ripped our country apart. It has divided us, caused us to fear and hate those who think and live differently than us, and even caused us to hate those who only slightly disagree with us. It has led to panic and overreaction. And I worry that American Anxiety is only going to exacerbate the social and political divide in this country to the point that there is no coming back.
